Who we are

Machine Taste is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us about anything in this notice at dom@machinetaste.com.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form or email us, we collect the details you choose to give: your name, your business, your email address and your message. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to arrange and hold a conversation about working together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where we go on to work together, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.

We do not sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Where it is kept

Form submissions are received through our website host, Netlify, and delivered to our business email. Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for no more than two years afterwards unless we go on to work together.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to transfer it to you. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
